Paraskevas, Evripidis

Biography: 
I was a Ph.D. Candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Maryland (UMD). My research interests lie in the area of wireless and mobile networked systems and network security. I work under the supervision of Prof. John S. Baras. Before joining UMD, I received my Diploma (five-year degree) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). I was member of Network Management and Optimal Design Laboratory (NETMODE), working under the supervision of Prof. Symeon Papavassiliou. In addition to serving as a research and teaching assistant at UMD, my previous work experience includes interning at the Electronics and Communications group of Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) in Cambridge, Massachusetts in Summer 2015 and at the Mobile Networking and Security group of Applied Communication Sciences (ACS) in Basking Ridge, New Jersey in Summer 2013 (full-time research intern) and Summer 2014 (visiting research intern).
